Executive Development Consultant North Carolina (US)

Professional Expertise

With a background in organizational psychology and entrepreneurial leadership, John (“Buck”) Bradberry has improved the performance of more than a thousand leaders in global corporations, startup and growth-stage companies, and most things in between. His specialties include the art and science of leadership assessment, executive coaching and development, and working with growth leaders: CEOs and executives who need to step up and lead on a larger stage. These include VC- and PE-backed executives, as well as public company leaders transitioning into roles of greater scope and complexity. His solutions center on world-class assessment and development processes that help clients pinpoint and activate one or two high-impact growth opportunities.

He is the author of 6 Secrets to Startup Success (American Management Association, 2011), a research-driven book on entrepreneurial psychology, and he has developed several proprietary tools and frameworks for improving growth leadership performance.

Experience

Prior to becoming an external consultant, Buck worked for what was then the fourth-largest U.S. bank (First Union, now Wells Fargo) in several senior roles. He assessed and profiled the company’s top thirty executives, worked to integrate merged businesses from a people and culture perspective, and designed and led corporate-wide leadership development programs. He has worked across a wide range of venture stages, from seed startups to global enterprises, and currently provides entrepreneurial programming to various business schools.

Buck enjoys songwriting, running, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
