Author, professor, international leadership development consultant, and executive coach with more than 30 years of leadership experience in more than 50 countries and 5 continents, KRW Executive Development Consultant Enrique J. Zaldivar works with leaders and their organizations to improve long-range capability to seize opportunities, thrive with change, solve problems, and achieve sustainable results. He is convinced that effective leaders create culturally appropriate conditions for organizational success that produce results as well as sustainable, effective, and rewarding workplaces.
He helps leaders develop their cultural competence to effectively interact, communicate, and influence across cultures; deepen their self-awareness; identify, build, and motivate high-performance teams; and align teams around purpose, strategies and actions that create stakeholder value. His results-based approach to consulting and coaching emphasizes harnessing the creative energy between being authentic and being accountable.
He has worked with more than 10,000 leaders and has individually coached more than 1,000 C-level executives, VPs, and leaders across industries in large multinational and midsize companies, non-profits, supranational organizations, and governments. His roster of clients ranges from some of the largest global corporations to the United Nations, the US Government, and various nonprofit organizations.

Experience
An aspiring “renaissance man,” Enrique has excelled as a leader in many sectors and roles — consultant, coach, author, executive, financier, civil engineer, university professor, and retailer. As Chief Risk Officer for Inter-American Development Bank, he led the organization development effort to consolidate and manage unprecedented change.
He is a professor of leadership coaching at Georgetown University where he teaches Culture and Identity in Leadership Coaching and an executive coach at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School. He formerly served as lead faculty at American University’s M.S. Program in Organizational Development where he taught courses on Global Diversity & Cultural Competence and International Consultation Skills. He has also taught at the School of Psychology at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, as well as at the Engineering Schools of LaSalle University and National University of Mexico (UNAM).
