David Yau is a banker-turned-coach who helps individuals and teams develop through working on real problems such as difficult relationships at work or role transition. Through coaching and facilitation, clients make progress on real problems and become more aware of their own patterns of behavior and thinking. David and his clients explore and experiment together on new ways of doing and thinking in order to advance learning and problem solving.
Experience
Prior to his work as an independent consultant, David worked in HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank for twenty years, both as a corporate banker and an in-house leadership development practitioner.
David has lived in Hong Kong, Fontainebleau, Beijing, Shanghai, and Geneva, and is currently located in London. He works primarily in Asia and Europe.
