Barrhonda aims to be in service to others through transformational coaching. Her approach incorporates cognitive behavioral theory, positive psychology, and self-discrepancy theory. With this in mind, she works with her clients to broaden perspectives, upgrade strengths, and prepare clients for their proud moments. Focus areas in her work with senior executives and emerging leaders and their teams include interpersonal dynamics, change management, process improvement, recruitment and strategic planning, cross-functional team development, and presentation skills and communication.
Barrhonda has over twenty-two years of corporate business experience and over eleven years of leadership coaching experience. She has also served as an adjunct instructor for the Master of Decision Analytics program at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business and currently serves part-time as the Director of Leadership Coaching and Teamwork for the school of business executive graduate programs. Prior to joining KRW, she worked for Capital One in a variety of roles, including operations leadership, process engineering, and leading enterprise coaching products and services.
Barrhonda is currently working toward a PhD in industrial and organizational psychology with a specialization in leadership development and coaching.
