Barbara A. Kurz
An accomplished human capital leader and executive coach, Barbara has operated in different corporate and consulting cultures, quickly able to pivot to understand operating cultures, business objectives and how her role can impact the bottom line through identifying, attracting and advising top talent. She has coached individuals at early, mid-career and executive levels over the last 15 years. She works with clients to build confidence, raise self-awareness, and focus on near-term objectives by changing patterns of thinking to find new solutions that drive results.
Barbara has lived and worked in the US, Asia, and the UK. Over the last 25 years, she has led and transformed global HR, talent and recruitment teams through complex business and organizational change. Working with C-Suite executives and their teams, she has provided thought leadership to create differentiated HR practices to include assessment/selection, mobility, leadership capability, accelerated development and succession planning. Her career started at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase) in campus recruitment and progressed to other leadership roles at iconic brands including American Express, Citibank, and MetLife. This experience is complimented by advisory work at several global executive search consultancies and non-profit boards.
