Amruza Birdie is an executive coach and leadership consultant dedicated to helping leaders realize their fullest potential and achieve lasting impact. Drawing on over fifteen years of leadership experience across nonprofits and startups, she brings a distinctive blend of strategic insight, entrepreneurial acumen, and empathetic partnership to her coaching engagements. Experience
Before launching her coaching and consulting practice, Amruza founded and served as Executive Director of Encompass, a national nonprofit advancing equity and effectiveness within the animal welfare movement. Earlier, she was a federal lobbyist with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, where she helped shape the landmark reform of the Toxic Substances Control Act, culminating in an invitation from the White House to witness President Obama sign the bill into law. Her background also includes leading people operations for her family’s large Montessori school, and through a successful acquisition.
Amruza’s clients include senior and emerging leaders navigating growth, change, and complexity, whom she supports in strengthening their authentic leadership presence, enhancing team effectiveness, sharpening focus and prioritization, and amplifying strategic impact. As a systems thinker, she looks to understand the full scope of her clients’ experiences.
