Chitupa Mung’omba focuses on coaching and consulting with leaders and their teams to achieve resilience, agility, vision, and energized organizational and business results. Chitupa specializes in designing, implementing, and conducting leadership development programs with and for the C-suite using virtual platforms and/or a hybrid of virtual and face to face learning experiences. She co-creates programs with leadership that them to be accountable for ensuring that their leadership culture drives their organizational intent into reality. Her specific expertise is designing and running value-based leadership programs that create the capacity, skills, capabilities, and resilience for leadership to drive successful DEI, talent, business, and other leadership agendas. Chitupa is passionate about DEI and has focused on building black talent into leadership roles as well as working with leadership teams to create supportive and enabling structure and systems towards total inclusion.
For more than fifteen years, Chitupa has worked with CEOs, senior executives, and their organizations across a variety of sectors in North America, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Indian Ocean islands. In South Africa she ran her own consulting and coaching business with an emphasis in the financial and banking sector before returning to the UK.
She served on the board of the bank Cavmont and headed up their Strategic and HR Committee. She also served as Board member of RTC (Zambia). In her earlier career she headed up an M&A team structuring telecoms deals and working in boutique financial houses specializing in infrastructure and trade finance. Chitupa has also published several articles and is the author of Africa Leadership Legacy. She also speaks French and enjoys writing leadership thought papers that challenge leadership to propel them to consciously create a legacy that they and all their people in their organization can be proud of.
